Privacy Policy

Methodox Wiki does not collect, store, or share any personal information. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no third-party data-collection SDKs in the app. Everything you read and search happens on your device.
What the app is
Methodox Wiki is an offline mirror of wiki.methodox.io, the public product documentation for Divooka and related Methodox services. The documentation is bundled inside the app, so reading and searching work with no network connection and no server involvement.
Information we collect
None. Specifically, the app does not collect or transmit:
- Names, email addresses, phone numbers, or any other contact details
- Accounts or login credentials — the app has none
- Location, contacts, photos, camera, microphone, or files — the app requests none of these permissions
- Advertising identifiers or device identifiers
- Usage analytics, telemetry, crash reports, or diagnostics
- The terms you type into the in-app search box, which are matched against the bundled content on your device and never leave it
Network access
The app declares the INTERNET and ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE permissions for one purpose: some documentation pages reference illustrations that are hosted online rather than bundled into the app. When you open such a page, the app requests that image directly from the server hosting it.
As with any request a browser makes, the server receiving it can see your IP address, the time of the request, and the app's user agent (MethodoxWiki/1.0). We send no identifier, no account, and no information about you. If you never open a page containing a remote image, the app makes no network requests at all.
Data stored on your device
The app keeps two things locally, both on your device only, and neither is transmitted anywhere:
- An image cache. Downloaded illustrations are stored in the operating system's cache area, capped at roughly 160 MB, so pages load quickly and work offline afterwards.
- Your reading position. How far you had scrolled in a document, so you return to the same place.
Both are removed when you clear the app's storage in Android Settings, or when you uninstall the app. Android may also clear the cache on its own when storage runs low.
Links to other sites
The documentation links to external websites. Opening one hands off to your browser and leaves the app; the destination site is then governed by its own privacy policy, not this one.
Children
Methodox Wiki is technical software documentation. It is not directed at children, and because it collects no information at all, it collects none from children.
Changes to this policy
If the app's behaviour ever changes in a way that affects your privacy, this page will be updated and the date above revised before the change ships. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
